There will be no rain dates. The public will be notified of a cancellation through the Pottstown Parks and Recreation Facebook page by 3:30 PM the day of the event. \nPlay Streets is a collaborative effort among community organizations\, and is being led by Pottstown Parks and Recreation\, which has hosted community events in and outside of local parks. This includes their successful “Water Wednesdays” initiative\, which has brought families out to local streets to cool off at borough fire hydrants in past summers. \nPottstown Parks and Recreation has partnered with the Play Streets Coalition to deliver this program in year one. Runners will receive a race bib. $30 registration fee after August 6 (does not include t-shirt). Children under the age of 10 are free. T-shirt size requests will be honored to the best of our ability\, but size may be substituted. \nRegister online through August 24 at 11:59 p.m. Day-of race registration is also available.
